A Day at Pre-School

The pre-school is organized around helping the children to grow emotionally intellectually, physically and socially. (Hold your mouse over our ladybugs for a special, quick message!)

  • Blocks and beads for increasing math skills,
  • Creative arts centers,
  • Science/sensory experiences,
  • Quiet space for books and puzzles,
  • Creative writing area.
We learn outside.
    Outdoor Fenced Playyard
  • Climbing equipment,
  • Sand box,
  • Grassy area for imaginative play,
  • Sidewalks for wheeled toys,
  • Swings,
  • Seasonal toys.
We exercise our bodies and minds.
    Exercise Room
  • Climbing equipment for large muscle growth, to increase balance and coordination,
  • Mats for rolling and tumbling,
  • Large building blocks.

Daily activities include:

Children arrive to free play in any of the centers
Circle time - sharing, songs, plays, stories
Snack time - children and teachers share conversation
Quiet time - quiet play, music, books and puzzles
