The teachers of Hilliard United Methodist Pre-School recognize many of their "graduates" who are now excelling in elementary, middle school, high school and college. The school currently employs 20 experienced teachers, with an average of over 15 years experience. Our non-profit organization was founded in 1971 with the goal to provide a safe environment to nurture the intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth of each child. Our growing enrollment is open to all children meeting the state guidelines for our license.
All members of the staff receive ongoing scheduled teacher training including CPR, First-Aid Training, Child Abuse Prevention, and recognition/handling of Communicable Diseases. Our teachers are well- trained and exceptional caring child advocates.
We maintain a student-teacher ratio as previously shown on the chart. Our standards are higher than the state minimum. Our quality program meets and surpasses state requirements every year. This fulfills the requirements of the State of Ohio in order to maintain our license as a preschool facility and also assures that all students receive careful attention.
